I have a Kindle.
Whoa, right?
Ok- so after about a week I've found what I knew to be true all along- that which I knew to be true ever since reading one of my favorites, Mortimer Adler's How to Read a Book: that you can't own an ebook. I mean, really own (read the earlier link on "true ownership").
I got it for travel, though, and for that- it's ideally suited. But then again, this will be tested tomorrow as I leave for Peru with only the Kindle for reading (along with a pocket New Testament).
